Realising the workplace of the future
Entire site redesign & redevelopment
We developed plans to build over the existing Debenham’s goods yard to the rear to create a major new 40,500 sq ft architectural designed extension.

Working with MoreySmith, we developed plans to build over the existing Debenham’s goods yard to the rear to create a major new 40,500 sq ft architectural designed extension creating total area of 144,500 sq ft over 10 floors to accommodate 2,000 employees with spaces for 2,240.
The human centric design approach focuses on establishing a greater sense of employee community and collaboration while prioritising wellbeing and sustainability that enables everyone to thrive mentally and physically.
The double height improved street presence, new build extension and central atrium will maximise natural daylight throughout with a central staircase providing for mobility and ease of movement between floors.
New amenities include cycling facilities, wellness studios, a family room, new larger café area, a high-quality client lounge, dynamic pitching suite, talent training space, innovation lab, library and outside terraces on first and seventh floors.
Collaboration and working together across disciplines, is at the heart of CBRE’s culture and so the workspace itself is designed to remove silos, encourage creativity and innovation right across the business.
A variety of different workspaces and meeting and breakout areas have been designed specifically to allow for activity-based working and to provide flexibility and choice to meet a wide range of work styles.
