Record Number of Riders at CBRE’s Great Property Bike Ride

The Great Property Bike Ride, hosted by CBRE last week, welcomed more than 600 cyclists from across the property industry to Sandown Park Racecourse, Surrey, to raise vital funds for CBRE’s UK charity partner, Alzheimer’s Society.
The record number of participants, from more than 250 companies, chose one of three distances of 40km, 70km, or 122km, with the latter taking on the challenging summit of Box Hill.
The event attracted 16 sponsors, including platinum sponsor, McLaren Property and media partner, EG.
This is our flagship UK charity event and for me personally, marks one of my favourite industry-wide events. On behalf of all of us at CBRE, an enormous thank you to all of the cyclists, who persisted despite the 30-degree heat to raise money for a truly deserving cause. Allowing for a variety of distances has further increased the popularity of the Great Property Bike Ride, and reaching a record number of participants this year is testament to this.

I would like to thank our team who took part, along with our consultants who joined us to raise money for such a worthwhile cause. The McLaren Property team and all the cyclists did amazingly well.
