Global real estate advisor, CBRE, has sold a portfolio of 46 care homes on behalf of the Four Seasons Health Care Group for £241m. The purchaser is global real estate investment trust (REIT), Omega Healthcare Investors, Inc.
All of the care homes are freehold and are located across England, Scotland and Jersey. Six operators will run the care homes moving forward. Until now, they have all traded under the Four Seasons Health Care or brighterkind brands.
Christie & Co acted as agent for the purchaser.
This is a landmark deal for the sector, and our appointment as sole sale side advisor demonstrates our ability to provide strategic advice, built on our deep sector expertise and our track record on transactions of this scale.

This was a complex process with many moving parts. Having high quality advisers appointed had a significant impact at each stage of the process and I am very grateful to the whole CBRE team for all their efforts in securing this outcome.
