CBRE has once again secured a place on the Financial Times ranking of the best companies in Europe for Diversity.
The global real estate advisor ranked 130 out of approximately 15,000 eligible companies and of the 850 companies that received the highest total score. CBRE was the only real estate advisory firm to achieve this distinction.
The report recognises the European companies and institutions that are considered to be the most inclusive employers across Europe, based on the views of more than 100,000 employees across the continent.
Survey participants were asked their opinions about the extent to which their employer promotes diversity and their views on topics related to age, gender, ethnicity, disability and sexual orientation. Corporations from all industry sectors employing at least 250 people in 16 countries were eligible. This year, three objective indicators were also added to the analysis to make the ranking more definitive. These included the share of women in management positions, the communications made in favour of diversity and the diversity score calculated by data provider, Denominator.
The Financial Times ranking is compiled by Statista, a world leader in the creation of company, brand and product rankings and top lists, based on comprehensive market research and data analysis.
To be recognised once again as a Diversity Leader in Europe is testament to all the work we are doing to ensure that Diversity and Inclusion is an intrinsic part of CBRE’s cultural DNA. We are pleased that the survey respondents noted gains in our efforts over the past year, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to constantly advance belonging and unity in every corner of our organisation and create an environment where all individuals can thrive.
