CBRE Appoints New Lead for Loan Servicing for Europe

Global real estate advisor, CBRE, has appointed Dean Harris to lead its Loan Servicing business for Europe.
Dean will join CBRE on 9 June from Trimont, where he has spent the last six years leading the firm’s EMEA Advisory and Servicing business. Prior to this, Dean was Head of Asset Management at Situs, where he led a team managing CRE loans of circa €10bn.
Dean will report to Clarence Dixon, CBRE's Global Head of Loan Services, a team that comprises of loan servicing, loan advisory and loan receivership. Dean has worked in financial services for 30 years and has more than 20 years of real estate lending experience and boasts a proven track record in loan portfolio management, credit analysis, debt restructuring and recovery.
Globally, CBRE manages more than $400bn of commercial real estate debt, with more than €100bn across Europe.
As the debt markets reopen, now is the optimal time to prepare our loan servicing business for the next phase of our successful journey. CBRE has a clear strategy to recruit the best talent, and I am thrilled to welcome someone of Dean’s calibre to the team.
