CBRE Appointed as National Delivery Partner to UK Government’s Strategic Sites Accelerator Programme

CBRE has been appointed by the Department for Business and Trade (DBT), through the Office for Investment (OfI), as National Delivery Partner for the Government’s Strategic Sites Accelerator (SSA) programme, following a highly competitive tender process.

CBRE will act as the sole lead adviser over the next three years, working in partnership with CBRE Group company Turner & Townsend (T&T), as part of its wider delivery team.

The Strategic Sites Accelerator is a flagship Government initiative designed to unlock complex, high-potential industrial and commercial sites across the UK. The Government has provided over £600m of funding to support the delivery of a number of nationally significant strategic sites over the next three years.

CBRE and Turner & Townsend will provide end-to-end advisory and delivery support across commercial advisory and site selection, financial structuring, real asset and infrastructure delivery, and programme governance.

The programme will deploy targeted interventions through a combination of non-financial support, grant funding and minority equity or debt investment, helping to address key barriers to development including fragmented ownership, infrastructure constraints and viability challenges.

The appointment represents one of the most significant advisory mandates awarded by DBT and plays a central role in supporting the Government’s growth mission by unlocking private investment and accelerating delivery across priority industrial sectors.
