Global real estate advisor, CBRE, has today announced that Clarence Dixon will become Chair of European Loan Services, effective 1 June. Dean Harris will become the firm’s European Head of Loan Services.

Dixon has led CBRE’s Loan Services business since 2013. He has been instrumental in the growth of the platform, which now manages a commercial real estate debt portfolio of $460bn AuM globally, and €104bn AuM in Europe.

Harris joined CBRE as an Executive Director last year. Prior to this, he spent five years leading Trimont’s EMEA Advisory and Servicing business. He has worked in financial services for 30 years and has more than 20 years of real estate lending experience, with a proven track record in loan portfolio management, credit analysis, debt restructuring and recovery.

Becoming Chair of the European Loan Services business is an extraordinary opportunity, in which I will focus on the business strategy and sustaining long-term client relationships, while continuing to support the growth of the platform with Dean at the helm.
