Kenneth leads the European Hotels platform at CBRE, co-ordinating the strength of local-market expertise with CBRE’s global capital markets practice, as well as the pan-European valuation and advisory sector specialists.  Kenneth personally leads on marquee sales mandates, particularly in the luxury sector.  Kenneth joined CBRE in 2021 from Belmond where he was head of global development, the group’s general counsel.  Previously, as SVP Corporate Transactions Group at Hyatt International, Kenneth held responsibility for six years for portfolio asset management transactions for Hyatt across Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific.  Kenneth previously spent 16 years in law firms, with public and private M&A experience in New York and Europe, subsequently leading the launch of the European operations of the Chambers No. 1-ranked hospitality-law practice at Sonnenschein, now Dentons.  From 2003, he worked exclusively in the hospitality sector, advising both listed majors such as Starwood Hotels and Hilton on their development and branded-residential transactions as well as major owners such as LRG Acquisition Ltd., which acquired and actively asset-managed a 73-hotel IHG portfolio across the UK.  Kenneth holds an LL.B. from Trinity College Dublin, has been admitted to legal practice in four jurisdictions, and holds an MBA from Columbia Business School.
