Becky Gaughan

Becky is based in the UK and is an experienced valuer with a background in healthcare and commercial valuation.

In addition to her valuation experience with Christie and Co, Colliers and Knight Frank, Becky spent 7 years as a Senior Lecturer within one of the UK's most prominent real estate departments at Northumbria University. She also spent 2 years as a staff member at the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) with a portfolio of valuation standards and guidance development.

This varied background lead her into a valuation compliance role at Savills Limited before she joined the Quality and Risk Management team at CBRE in 2022.

Currently working at senior management level with responsibility for quality and risk management across the European Valuation and Advisory Services team, Becky’s responsibilities include:

• Leading QRM in Europe by managing a QRM network across Continental Europe, and a full time QRM team based in the UK.
• Driving the implementation of the VAS Practice Area Guidelines, key risk mitigation procedures and ensuring compliance with standards and regulation throughout Europe.
• Identifying areas where valuers would benefit from additional guidance and managing the delivery of best practice communication.
• Organising training and mentoring as required within VAS European regions to support valuers in their development.
• Leading and tracking ESG and Sustainability guidance and support for valuers in collaboration with the global QRM team.

• Obtained full RICS membership in 2005 and became a Fellow in 2016
• RICS Registered Valuer
