The office sector remains the most preferred property type for European and UK investors as we enter 2022. However, in the UK logistics comes a close second, with 32% of investors favouring logistics (23% for the EMEA sample).
‒ Value-add acquisitions are the most popular among UK investors.
‒ Germany scored highest in terms of country-level performance expectations. Notably, the UK had a much stronger showing in 2022, finishing second, due to waning uncertainty around Brexit.

‒ Compared to 2021, pricing is expected to strengthen for Logistics, Multifamily and prime Office. In contrast, the majority of investors expect discounts in retail. Over half of investor expect discounts in hotel and value-add offices assets.
