£1.6bn transacted across Operational Real Estate (OPRE) in Q2 2026, accounting for 16% of total UK real estate investment. H1 2026 investment totalled £4.3bn, representing a 20% increase on H1 2025.

 

Hotels accounted for the largest share of OPRE investment in the first half of the year (72%) with activity supported by several significant single-asset transactions in London.

 

We anticipate an uptick in investment activity in H2 with a strong pipeline of opportunities in the Healthcare and Leisure sectors.
