In early 2023, the CBRE Asset Management team were instructed by M&G Real Estate, on a mixed-use portfolio of 50 assets, across 2 investment funds. The portfolio comprises approximately 4.2m sq ft of accommodation, including high quality Central London & Regional office space, supermarkets, and high street retail assets across the UK. Over this period, the asset management team have successfully executed over 100 strategic lease renewals, regears, rent reviews, and new lettings. We have proactively delivered multiple value-add office floor and building-wide refurbishment projects, whilst also identifying and appraising several significant redevelopment opportunities to maximise investment performance. Key highlights include: +£32m of annual rental income secured, strategic disposal of key assets, improved overall weighted average lease term to +6 years.
