CBRE Development Management successfully delivered the comprehensive refurbishment and extension of 1 Great St Helen’s, a former office building in the City’s Eastern Cluster.

CBRE managed the full development lifecycle – from Stage 1 Feasibility through successful planning consent, procurement and delivery in 2025 – bringing the building up to modern occupier standards and delivering 52,000 sq ft net office space.

The re-design was led by John Robertson Architects, the original architect in 1998 – with design driven by sustainable practices to minimise demolition and waste, reduce embodied carbon and optimise operational efficiency. The reimagined building introduces new internal and external amenity space, including a rooftop pavilion, end-of-trip facilities and lightwell to maximise natural light and occupiable space.
