Employee Business Resource Groups

Employee Business Resource Groups enable CBRE to accentuate the value of a diverse employee base.

Talent, above all else, is cultivated and nourished as the foundation of the CBRE culture. Our Employee Business Resource Groups are open to all CBRE employees.

The CBRE UK Ability EBRG supports the professional and personal requirements of our disabled community. Together with company leadership, we are advocates and advisors to CBRE employees with disabilities, as well as to CBRE on matters related to hiring and inclusion of employees with disabilities. We aim to build disability accessibility, inclusion and allyship into CBRE’s recruiting hiring, retention and employee experience.

Armed Forces

A number of our employees have prior military service, which provides them with specialised skills and experience much different from those of civilian workers. Our CBRE UK Armed Forces work to set these employees up for success in our corporate environment while speaking to their military background.

Faith Network

Our CBRE UK Faith Network works to raise awareness of the barriers in the workplace to those observing a faith or belief system.  The group provides moments of community and interfaith education throughout an annual calendar of events and workshops.  This vital group has contributed to the improvement of our facilities, policies and organisational understanding of a range of faith and beliefs.

Family Network

The CBRE UK Family Network provides a community network for parents and carers to help create an organisation where all families can thrive. Their work has driven real change including a recent enhancement of our Family Friendly Benefits. Learn More.

Proud Network

The CBRE UK Proud Network provides an open-minded support system for conducting business while addressing the personal requirements of our LGBTQ+ community. The group acts as an advocate for shaping CBRE practices and programs to ensure a business community where merit supersedes sexual orientation and gender.

Reach Network

The REACH Network provides a support network for CBRE professionals from various ethnic, religious and social backgrounds, as well as an accessible and personal educational platform for the UK business and wider industry.

Women’s Network

Established in 2005, the CBRE UK Women’s Network is a group of people united in their pursuit to make CBRE a more rewarding place, not just for women but for everyone.

The Women's Network aspires to attract and retain the most talented women, to develop their skills and to aid their success and advancement in the company specifically as well as the real estate industry generally.

The Women's Network continue to influence the Diversity & Inclusion policies at CBRE, resulting in securing fully paid shared parental leave for men and for women in 2018, ongoing maternity coaching for our women, unconscious bias training being rolled out for leadership and across the business and a focus on inclusive leadership and training programmes for our staff.

Our informal promotion mentoring programme for women has just been relaunched. As a network we run numerous events across the UK throughout the year, which are open to all from our annual conference, client events and well as more formal and informal networking opportunities.
