UK Long Income Index Q1 2026

UK long income total returns were 1.6% in Q1 2026, according to the CBRE Long Income Index. This was driven by income return, as capital value increased by 0.2%.
Income Strips saw the strongest increase in capital values, rising by 0.3%, followed by Sale & Leasebacks at 0.2%.
The Long Income net initial yield remained constant throughout the quarter, however discount rates increased by 23bps.
