Impact Assessment
Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) – We provide a ‘one-stop’ EIA project management and coordination service, which simplifies lines of communication and avoids problems that can arise when individual topics are dealt with in isolation.
Our success is built on effective, early engagement with key stakeholders and a focus on delivering proportionate assessment – providing the right level of information to allow well-informed and timely decisions to be taken by determining authorities, as well as the swift delivery of consented schemes. We have a 100% track-record for screening out the need for EIA where we have recommended it. In addition, we have not to date been required to provide a Regulation 25 submission for deficiencies in an original environmental statement, attesting to the comprehensiveness and quality of our work.
When we need specialist advice – on anything from great crested newts to archaeological deposits – we call on our extensive network of expert consultants to identify cost-effective solutions.

Socio-economic and Health Impact Assessment – The increasing recognition of the effect surroundings have on communities’ wellbeing and the downstream costs of this on individuals’ health and public health services delivery have placed a greater emphasis on the consideration of health impacts at the planning stage.
We provide insight into the potential effects of schemes on an area and its community - from quantifying economic opportunities, such as job creation and local spend multiplier effects, through to defining capacity demand on local schools and GP surgeries. Our expertise is often integral to the master planning process, informing phasing strategies to ensure schemes are straightforward and deliverable.
We work with design teams, clients and statutory consultees, such as Clinical Commissioning Groups, to influence developments to deliver healthier environments. We analyse development interventions in the context of a comprehensive evidence base to evaluate the likely effectiveness of such measures and present the findings in a Health Impact Assessment.

Energy Management
Energy Optimisation – We use our own smart technology, Asset IQ, and professional engineering support to provide unique insights and optimise the energy efficiency, costs and carbon emissions of your assets.
Asset IQ provides an easy to install product for SMART buildings that gives engineers and property managers access to real-time performance information, helping reduce energy wastage. It can interact with 3rd party databases (e.g. service charge, recharging) and can accept manual data entry so it can be tailored to action specific key performance indicators (electricity, gas, air quality, landlord and tenant(s) consumption) and enable sustainability / ESG strategy obligations. Benchmarking and energy performance data can be shared on screens of public areas to the asset to demonstrate progress and influence behavioural changes.
