Central London in November 2020

  • Central London office take-up totalled 133,500 sq ft for November, representing the lowest monthly total in 2020 and on record.
  • Availability rose to 22.0m sq ft; more than 50% above the long-term trend level.
  • Under offers were up 2% month-on-month to 2.2m sq ft but remained below the 10-year monthly average level.
  • At the month-end there was 11.7m sq ft under construction, of which 44% was pre-let or under offer.
  • Central London office investment totalled £1.1bn during November, and £4.7bn in the year-to-date.
