Central London in January 2021

-Central London office take-up totalled 272,100 sq ft in January, remaining low relative to the 10-year monthly average of 1.0m sq ft.

-There was 24.3m sq ft available space, of which 76% was secondhand.

-Under offers fell by 12% to 1.7m sq ft, remaining below the 10-year trend of 3.2m sq ft.

-There was 11.7m sq ft under construction, of which 41% was pre-let or under offer.

-Central London office investment totalled £362m, down 87% from a strong December total.
