CBRE, the global real estate advisor, has appointed Irvinder Goodhew as Managing Director for UK Sectors, effective 10 March 2025. In her new role, Irvinder will lead the firm’s go-to-market sector strategy in the UK, covering sectors including, life sciences, the public sector and industrial & logistics.
Irvinder will succeed Guy Holden, who will retire after being with CBRE for over nine years. Prior to his current role, Guy was Managing Director of Advisory & Transaction Services for Europe.
Irvinder will join CBRE from Alvarez & Marsal, where she is a Managing Director in the Corporate Transformation Group. She has also been a Non-Executive Director at British Land for four years, a position she will step down from on 1 March 2025, prior to joining CBRE. Irvinder brings extensive global experience with leading organisations in corporate and professional services, such as Lloyds Banking Group, Sainsbury’s and Kearney, where she has led major transformation initiatives focused on value generation.
We are delighted to welcome Irvinder to the team. I’m confident that Irvinder will continue the momentum set by Guy Holden, working with our sector specialists across the business to further develop our sector strategy. Irvinder has an outstanding track record leading large-scale, complex FTSE100 transformations, including board-level roles, and I’m sure her expertise will be invaluable as we continue to deliver top-tier solutions for our clients.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a market leading advisory firm and I look forward to building on my experience within real estate. The ongoing economic challenges are providing opportunities for firms that have a clearly differentiated offering and I will be focused on further developing our sector expertise.
