Matt Eastwood

Matt Eastwood leads CBRE’s Project Management business globally. This business is comprised of experts in program management, project and construction management, building consulting and technical assessments, capital planning, cost management, and move management. From renovations, tenant improvements to ground-up construction, they bring expertise across every industry sector.

Prior to assuming responsibility for the Project Management business, Matt served as Global Chief Operating Officer of CBRE’s Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) business. He was accountable for driving operational excellence in GWS, a business with more than 70,000 employees. This included business oversight of Mergers & Acquisitions, Supply Chain, Digital & Technology, Corporate Development, Legal, Compliance & Risk and other functions to ensure GWS maintained a robust operating platform and its teams were empowered to be agile and responsive to client needs.

Matt previously served as Chief Operating Officer of the GWS | Local & Data Center Solutions business, assisting its Chief Executive Officer in leading a business through double digit organic growth and international expansion that now serves more than 1,500 contracted clients worldwide.

Matt joined CBRE in 2015 and originally served as Executive Director for the Corporate Services Division within Local Facilities Management, before being promoted in 2016 to Managing Director, Project Management, EMEA.

In 2020, Matt was the Transformation Director for Project Go, a business transformation program to restructure GWS into three core global verticals: Project Management, Local and Enterprise.

Drawing from almost three decades of experience in the building industry, Matt started his engineering career at Honeywell as an Automation Engineering apprentice. He then went on to perform a variety of leadership roles at Honeywell across the UK & Ireland and EMEA within Service Management, Business Support, Project delivery and General Management.
