Professional Experience


As a Vice President with Retail Services in Denver, Justin Kliewer specializes in helping retail tenants, landlords and property owners align their real estate needs with their overall business objectives. Whether helping a retailer renew, expand or relocate, or assisting a landlord with leasing a new ground-up development, Justin understands the evolving nature of the retail industry and the role real estate plays in helping a consumer destination achieve success. 

With more than 17 years of experience in the industry, Justin has worked on some of Denver’s most-notable retail projects, including more than 50 transactions along Denver’s iconic 16th Street Mall. He has also helped source top-tier retailers to anchor major ground-up developments, such as Hampden Town Center, Highlands Garden Village, The Landmark and Lincoln Commons. Over the course of his career, Justin has completed more than 750 retail transactions with a total consideration in excess of $500 million. 

In addition to his work in the Denver metro area, Justin is recognized as one of the region’s foremost multi-market advisors, specializing in site selection and deal negotiation for regional and national tenants. Combined with his experience representing landlords and property owners, Justin’s current and former clients span from local entrepreneurs to multinational corporations and institutional investors. 

Justin began his career with Trammell Crow Company in Denver, joining CBRE when it acquired Trammell Crow in 2006. Later, he joined Newmark Knight Frank, also in Denver, where he most recently served as a managing director with the retail division.
