Residential investment totalled £2.3bn in Q4 2024, marking a 12% increase from the previous quarter. Overall, investment in Purpose-Built Student Accommodation surpassed the previous year, while Build-to-Rent investment was robust but lower than 2023. Yields in both sectors remained stable throughout Q4, and the investment outlook is optimistic.
