"I currently work within the Projects Group of CBRE’s Building Consultancy team and specialise in the delivery and management of commercial office refurbishment projects in London. As part of my role, I assist clients from the concept stage of a project, through to the design and implementation stages working with the wider consultant team to mitigate any risks and ensuring the project is delivered on time, on budget and in line with the client’s requirements.
"Since joining in 2015 I have had first hand exposure working on a number of high profile projects and have been the main point of contact for clients liaising with contractors, consultants and landlord teams to ensure projects are delivered seamlessly. Though the graduate scheme can be challenging at times, the support you receive from both your team as well as the wider business is great and the structured APC training is second to none.
"It’s not all hard work however, the work-life balance at CBRE is great and there is always an opportunity to network and socialise with other industry professionals outside of the workplace. If I had to choose, I would say the best thing about my role would be the fact that no one day is ever the same and there is always an opportunity to learn more, develop and progress within the business."
