What qualifications do I need to apply?
We require all candidates to have achieved or be on track to achieve a 2:1 in their undergraduate or postgraduate degree or a 2:2 with at least 300 UCAS points from their top 3 A-levels (excluding General Studies).

Which route can I apply for?
Cognate routes:
candidates will need to have obtained a RICS accredited degree. For more information on RICS accredited degrees please click here.
To apply for our cognate Planning route candidates will need to have obtained an RTPI accredited degree. For more information on RTPI accredited degrees please click here.
Non-cognate routes: Can apply with any undergraduate or postgraduate degree.

Can I apply to more than one route on the graduate programme?
No - we are only able to accept one application per person due to the large volumes of applications that we receive.

Can I apply by post or with a CV?
No - In order to remain fair and consistent to all candidates, we are only able to accept applications made through our online application form.

How long will it take me to complete the application form?
Typically the application form will take approximately 2 hours to complete. You can save as you go along so you can complete it in as many sittings as you like (just don’t forget to submit before the deadline!). Please ensure you include all of the information that you would like us to consider.

Do you accept applications from international students?
Under the rules of the UK Border Agency, CBRE is only permitted to sponsor non-EEA nationals to take up a position on the graduate scheme if there are not enough suitable candidates from within the EEA to fill the vacancies. Please be aware that whilst we would encourage all applicants to proceed with an application, applications from those requiring sponsorship to work in the UK will be placed on hold pending the consideration of candidates with the existing right to work in the UK.

Who will have access to and use my personal information?
We will only use your personal information for the purpose of your application and it will be limited to CBRE Graduate Recruitment Team.

How long will it take to process my application?
We review applications on an ongoing basis and will endeavor to let you know how your application is progressing within one week of the deadline for applying.

How will you get in touch with me?
We will keep in touch with you regularly regarding the status of your application either by email or by phone. Once you have registered your details for our graduate programme, you are able to track the progress of your application in your ‘My Account’ area by visiting https://cbre.groupgti.com/Home/Guest and entering your log-in details.

What does the selection process for the Graduate Programme involve?
The selection process will consist of an online application form, telephone interview, first round interview and an assessment centre. For more details please visit the Application Process section of our website. 

What is the starting salary for the Graduate Programme?
We offer one of the best starting salaries in the industry and a range of benefits which we will be able to discuss in greater detail at offer stage.

Do I need a driving licence?
Some of our roles will require travel. Whilst a driving licence would be advantageous it is not a requirement for our Graduate Programme. 

When would I be able to start on the Graduate Programme?
Most of our roles will start in September 2018 although we may have an opportunity for you to start earlier depending on business requirements. You will be able to advise on your application the earliest date that you are available from.

As part of the Graduate Programme, are there various rotations across the company or are they all within the specific route that I apply for?
Throughout the two-years, graduates can expect to work in a minimum of two departments. These may include: Agency, Development, Investment and Valuation.

Will I be offered the opportunity to work overseas as part of the Graduate Programme?
Whilst we are a global Company it is unlikely that you will be required to work overseas as part of the Graduate Programme as it is UK based. Throughout your continued career at CBRE you will have the opportunity to work in a truly global environment.

What training and development will I receive on the Graduate Programme?
Throughout the Graduate Programme you will receive both soft skills and technical training to help you develop towards your APC. Training sessions can include; time management, negotiations skills, presentation training and technical lectures.
