Action for Children became our new UK charity partner, after a UK-wide vote in February 2018. Action for Children is a truly inspiring charity that helps thousands of disadvantaged children across the UK.

During our three-year partnership, we worked with Action for Children to build, safe, stable homes for more than 700 children and their foster families in the care system.

We are thrilled to say that we exceeded our 1-million target and have raised over £1.3 million.

We achieved this by jointly using 951 pro bono hours to participate in fundraising activities and by spending 1,340 hours volunteering for Action for Children.

We also funded 6 specialist workers across the UK who work directly with children transitioning from care into independent living.

Digitalised a new advice booklet for children in care and a handbook for their foster parents. These tools will provide up to date information and help prevent placements from breaking down, ensuring children in care have the safe, stable, and loving homes they deserve.

Lastly, we helped put in place the Challenge policy to give young people an option to stay with their former foster carers when they turn 18, allowing them the opportunity to gradually transition into independence.
