NKT is a global front-line supplier to the energy sector. They develop, manufacture and market high quality cables, accessories and solutions for electrical infrastructure, the construction field and in the railway industry. 

The Challenge

With presence in 18 countries and 37 locations and some of the markets most modern manufacturing facilities in Germany, Sweden, Poland, Czech, Norway and Denmark, NKT needed a trusted supplier who understood the complex nature of the business.

CBRE provides both real estate services for NKT but also hard and soft facilities management services across their entire portfolio of sites which includes not just offices but also state of the art manufacturing facilities. 

The Result

CBRE utilised their technology solutions to combine real estate and facilities management data to provide valuable business insights across the entire portfolio which has delivered a 5-10-year outlook and enabled significant cost savings. CBRE and NKT have just signed a new global framework agreement and negotiated a new 5 year long lease.
