Alternative Property Investment

Brokerage of Unlisted Funds and Derivatives

For investors whose appetite to diversify their real estate exposure has grown beyond traditional real estate structures, we have a dedicated team able to evaluate and advise on alternative real estate investment instruments. Our capabilities include:

  • Unlisted fund brokerage - PropertyMatch
  • IPD derivatives
  • Inflation derivatives

PropertyMatch

A joint venture between CBRE and GFI, PropertyMatch is a screen-based secondary trading platform for unlisted real estate funds. It is now widely accepted as the most transparent pricing tool in the unlisted property sector, with industry wide support from over 500 end users.

The platform improves price discovery for both buyers and sellers of unlisted funds, and allows market participants to view and post prices for a range of managed property funds in secondary property units. It has given fund managers considerably more transparency, liquidity and efficiency.
