Given the fierce competition that exists to attract the best people, what we offer to our people has to continually improve. These are some of the measures we’re putting in place:

Creating a more diverse workforce

  • We will widen our recruitment pool beyond the traditional property sector and into the wider business community. Our aim is to create a more diverse working environment and extend the skill base within the company. 
  •  We also want to build on the work we’ve already done in recruiting more people from different cultures and countries.

Taking on school leavers

  • We aim to hire two trainees each year that are supported by the Chartered Surveyors’ Training Trust scheme.

Flexible Working

  • We aim to offer an increased number of flexible working schemes, including schemes for women returning to work after having children.

Flexible Benefits

  • In 2008, we will implement a programme of flexible benefits that enables our people to tailor the benefits of employment to their lifestyle.
