Controlling how and what we buy for the business is an important element of being environmentally aware. We will inform all our contractors and consultants of our environmental policy and encourage them to operate to similar standards.

What have we already achieved?

• All the cleaning suppliers we buy in are from sustainable sources.
• Where we do produce paper literature it will be printed on Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified paper using vegetable based inks.
• We have a core stationery suppliers list, where all items come from sustainable services. We encourage our people to order from this list.
  

What are our plans?

• As well as increasing our use of local suppliers, we are developing a procurement code that controls all purchasing activity throughout the company, and uses suppliers that have a good environmental record.
• As and when new furniture is needed, it will be made from recycled materials or come from sustainable sources.
