BCO Conference 2014, Birmingham – 14 – 16 May 2014
Having had a wide range of cities play host to the annual BCO Conference, 2014 see’s the well established event head to Birmingham for the three-day industry conference. With the theme ‘Leading for Change’, the 2014 conference will explore the evolving office sector focusing on new ways of creating modern and innovative environments for people to work in.
The CBRE Office team will be in attendance for the event as well as being involved in wider activities across the city.

CBRE AUCTION FEBRUARY 2014
We are delighted to announce the first commercial auction of the year will be taking place on 26th February 2014 at a new venue of The Montcalm Hotel (close to Marble Arch and Bond Street underground stations). 2013 saw the Auctions team sell a total of just over £90m with an average success rate of 80%. Entries for lots are invited for this next auction until Friday 24th January 2014.
EG Regional Development Summit, Manchester – 13 February 2014
Members of the CBRE National Team will be attending this one day conference focused on the growth opportunities and future trends outside of London in the regional markets covering industrial, retail, residential and alternative assets. There is a particular focus on Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds, Manchester, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Edinburgh as a range of topics are explored including: investment opportunities, the availability of funding and the influence of overseas investors to name a few.
Simon Milner, Head of Transactional Business for the CBRE National Team will also be speaking on the topic ‘Are we seeing a return to speculative development in the industrial sector?’ With significant experience in the industrial investment market, Simon will be addressing the key changes that have affected the sector and a look at future implications.
EUROPEAN OCCUPIER SURVEY LAUNCH, LONDON - 08 JANUARY 2014
The inaugural launch event of the European Occupier Survey (EOS) will be held at the Langham Hotel in London with the theme ‘Managing for the Upturn’.
The EOS, now in its fourth year, is an annual survey conducted to analyse the latest occupier real estate trends. This year global corporations who collectively occupy more than 2.7 billion sq ft worldwide responded to report the key trends and themes influencing their real estate decisions.
