Since I have joined the Building Survey department I haven't been disappointed. From the word go, I've been involved in surveying work right across the UK. If you want responsibility here, you can take it; it's to be part of the philosophy. If you need it, the support is there for you.
I worked in the construction industry for several years and hoped to build on the skills I'd acquired to become a Chartered Building Surveyor. After finishing University, I wanted to move my career on as quickly as I could: I thought a large multi-disciplinary practice would be the best place to do this. I was right. I've been offered fantastic career opportunities, a variety of challenging projects and most importantly, I'm enjoying a great working and social environment.
I have contact with world-class clients and I've been lead project manager on two refurbishments with budgets in excess of £2 million. I can't think of another business that would have given me so much responsibility and variety so soon.
