I knew I wanted to work in property and I knew I wanted to work for a business with a global network and a broad offer. CB Richard Ellis fitted the bill.
I work within the City Agency team, acquiring and disposing of office property within the City of London. Because of CB Richard Ellis's large market share I've been able to help senior colleagues with high profile projects that wouldn't be possible at other firms. I've also been running and managing my own projects; that kind of experience is unbeatable.
The variety of the job is a big part of its appeal, as is the fact that I'm often out and about visiting properties. I have worked alongside lots of other departments including investment, Global Corporate Services and Development. You learn something new with every interaction and the same is true of the contact I have with clients; CB Richard Ellis prizes the knowledge of client businesses highly and the best way to get it is by working very closely with them.
Most businesses talk about work/life balance, but here it's a reality. We all work very hard, but we get to play a fair bit too!
