CBRE Graduate Scheme 2008
I joined the CBRE Graduate Scheme in 2008, based in the Manchester office. I am currently part of the Property and Asset Management team and I have also completed a rotation in the Rating department.
I knew I wanted to work in property and I knew I wanted to work for a business with a global network and a broad offer. CB Richard Ellis fitted the bill.
I made the decision to pursue a career in property after undertaking work experience for a surveying firm in Lyon during my undergraduate degree in European Studies. After a Masters in Real Estate at university I was offered an internship at CB Richard Ellis before gaining a place on the graduate scheme. CB Richard Ellis was top of the list of companies I wanted to work for and I have not been disappointed.
After studying for an undergraduate degree in History of Art and Architectural History at the University of Edinburgh, I realised I wanted to enter a career in property so I completed a conversion course at university.
After completing a Management Studies degree at Nottingham University I decided to pursue a career in property so completed a Masters in Real Estate at university. I knew that I wanted to work for a large global company with a broad range of opportunities so CBRE seemed the perfect choice.
